Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is The Vintage currently accepting new artists, musicians, dramatists, purveyors of all that is beautiful, etc.?

Absolutely! The Vintage welcomes all types of artistic expression and invites artists from the Northeastern Pennsylvania region and beyond to submit their works for consideration. If you're interested in playing, performing, or showing at The Vintage, email your proposal to info@scrantonsvintagetheater.com
  • Is The Vintage an all ages venue?

Yes! In fact, we won the Electric City's Best All Ages Venue Award for 2012.
  • Do you offer rehearsal space for local musicians?

Yes! We offer a comfortable, warm and safe rehearsal location for local bands, but we only have a few opening slots right now. If you're interested, please contact us at info@scrantonsvintagetheater.com for times/rates. We are very flexible and will do our best to help you cultivate your music!
  • Do you accept donations?

Yes! To donate, please visit our Support page.
  • Do you accept sponsorships?

Yes! We are currently putting together packages, but in the meantime, please contact us at info@scrantonsvintagetheater.com if you're interested.
  • What is your space like?

The Vintage is located in a really unique space with a rich history. The space was originally The Manhattan Room, a former lounge and cocktail bar that opened in 1948. Over the years, the space took on new life, playing roles ranging from event planning business to restaurant. Today, The Vintage is incredibly dynamic. We can host musicians, arts and cultural events, classes, workshops, and everything in between. That's just one of the many reasons why we love our new home - The new Vintage is simple, elegant, and ever changing, much like our event calendar!
  • Do you sell food or drinks at your shows?

The Vintage Theater is proud to co-inhabit the historic Manhattan Room with The Morning Glory Cafe! This coffee/espresso based bistro is open for all Vintage Theater events. Please see their section on our website for more information!
  • Does The Vintage allow BYOB?

While for certain events we may offer complimentary wine to our valued patrons who are of proper age. We generally do NOT allow outside food or drinks of any nature. As an all ages venue we must ensure all are safe and comfortable.
